Towards the end of 2017, after my 3 month break between DCA closing down and Billy Blue opening for their next term, I started in a class called Finished Art where I learnt to work on Brochure design and Juice Bottle Label design. I enjoyed this class and really started to calm down after losing DCA, my second home away from home after graduating from High School. I understood what I was being taught, rather than being taught a bunch of things for the assignment, but only having one small aspect actually matter. So, I learnt about gradient maps and transparancey settings that I used for the images and illustrations on the brochure pages.
This assignment was about designing an advertising brochure with historical information about the Federation Square building in melbourne. As part of this, I did a lot of research on architecture through the centuries.
