Before I started at DCA, I got a Canon EOS 700D DLSR for my birthday in November, and towards the end of my first term, I went down to Wickham Street in Fortitude Valley to practice photography after one of my classes. Amongst other’s, this was one of the shots, and clearly the best one I took that night. I thought it was so good, I wanted to turn it into my lock-screen wallpaper on my iPhone SE 1st Gen, but before I did, I decided to personalise it by putting my name on it, but I didn’t want to do it in a way that just plasters it over the image and have it in the way of the beauty of the photo. So, using what I’d learnt in the first few weeks of Uni, I put my name on the road as if it’s been painted on there for years
